The waiting comes to an end – in a few days the Hornsmühlen Eventing 2019 is finally going to start. The organisers Axel Behmann and Gerd Hamann as well as their team welcome riders from twelve (!) different nations – represented are Skandinavia, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands and even the USA.

The program: a CCI2*-S One-Day-Event – the Gutshof-Ei Cup 2019, two tests for young horses and a test for the youngest riders. About 300 riders have released their entry form for Hornsmühlen Eventing. Many well known riders are planning to attend the event, e.g. the Badminton participants Louise Romeike and Kai Rüder, as well as Malin Petersen, Marianne Nielsen, Lotte Palmgren, Daya Hujan, Imre Toth and the German top athletes Dirk Schrade, Andreas Dibowski, Peter Thomsen, Julia Mestern, Nicolai Aldinger, Marina Köhncke and Claas Hermann Romeike. The 19th of May promises exciting sport with the CCI2*-S. The facts about the cross country course: 3000 meters, 25 efforts, a number of new fences and three different water combinations – amongst them a jump straight in a lake, a ride through a natural river and the pond at the end of the course which requests a good condition of the horses and riders, concentration and motivation. The responsible organisers in cross country – course designer Fried Schwien together with Martin Zastrow, Axel Behmann and Gerd Hamann – have announced that participants can expect a new routing, which caters for a completely new set up of the course. Hornsmühlen Eventing is sponsored by the company „Gutshof Ei“, the riding club Malente-Eutin and the horse sport association Schleswig-Holstein.
